Each of our 4 assisted living facilities is licensed for 16 beds by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH), and is staffed with 6 live-in caregivers. This makes for approximately 1 caregiver for every 2.5 residents. This is 3 times more than the DHMH requirements. We feel that this is the level that is required in order to provide the quality of care your loved one deserves

Recently, our Nurse Practitioner Beth Galik was the recipient of the 2021 American Association of Nurse Practitioners State Award for Excellence. Kenwood Care is honored and privileged to work with Beth on a daily basis as she cares for so many of our residents.
