Kenwood Care is always looking to add kind, compassionate, caring and dedicated live-in caregivers to our team. We have four senior care facilities in Maryland, each providing high quality of care and high quality of life to our residents. Position Description

This is a full-time live-in caregiver position. You don’t have to maintain a separate residence: we provide room and board, laundry, internet, phone and cable, as well as paid time off. Your responsibilities and duties may include:

• Providing direct or indirect non-medical care to our residents.
• Providing assistance with all basic daily living activities, including but not limited to bathing, laundry, dressing, housekeeping, personal grooming, etc.
• Providing assistance and awake care during the night hours.
• Troubleshooting, problem-solving and helping create a positive, welcoming environment in our facilities.

Qualifications and Experience

Excellent communication skills and great command of English are a must. We pay for and provide full training, including CPR, first aid, in-service training and Med Tech certification for qualified candidates. All you need to bring to the table is a desire to learn, solid ethics and passion for helping people. You must be able to pass all necessary background and criminal checks. It’s a bonus if you have prior caregiving experience, medical experience, PCA or CNA training, or related education. If not a U.S. Citizen, you must have an authorization to work in the United States.
