senior living stroke care

Selecting and moving into an assisted living community brings so many questions to mind for not only the decision maker, but to the new resident as well.  Of course, the biggest question is what type of senior living home is right for your needs?  Sometimes the little details and questions are the ones that consume our minds and give us the greatest amount of anxiety.  Questions like: What about my doctors?  How do I go to the dentist? How do I get my haircut?  At Kenwood Care Assisted Living, we bring all of those services to you.  Our goal is to reduce the stress and anxiety that come with these types of appointments and services.

At Kenwood Care, our independent living facilities have the ability to ensure quality medical care by bringing care to your new home.  Kenwood prides itself on having relationships with top rated medical professionals in the geriatric fields.  We have a renowned geriatric medical practice that oversees our senior living homes.  This includes a genriatric based Nurse Practitioner (NP) who visits our homes on a weekly basis.  We also have an NP who specializes in geriatric psychiatry, and a Delegate Registered Nurse who oversees our assisted living communities.

Kenwood Care also has the ability to bring medical services to you should you prefer to not leave home for these visits.  We perform many, if not all, diagnostic and blood work medical services on site in our assisted living homes.  Kenwood also has physical therapists, dentistry services and podiatry services that visit our affordable assisted living homes on a regular basis.

Medication management is a concern of most residents in assisted living homes.  The security of knowing that you have enough of your prescription and that you are taking it correctly is priceless for our seniors.  We have a pharmacy that delivers medications daily and takes all major insurances.  The piece of mind that this offers to the seniors living in our fixed-rate communities is priceless.

As we age, we still want to look our best.  For this reason, Kenwood also has a stylist come in for haircuts and other styling services allowing you to look and feel fantastic.

Residents of our assisted living facilities are also welcome to leave for all of these services if they wish to do so.  Kenwood can also arrange transportation to all appointments if family members are unavailable to drive them to appointments.

Kenwood Care Assisted Living Centers have been owned and operated by Victoria and John Sessler for 25 years in the Howard County area. After being in business for 25 years, we have learned what our residents really need to lead a happy and stress free retirement.
